Eiketsu Sho (Yongjie Zhuang), MD, PhD, has been working in the biotech industry and clinical medicine for over 30 years, with strong background in human and animal physiology and histopathology, especially in the area of preclinical in vivo pharmacology studies of cardiovascular disease, chronic inflammatory disease, liver disease, lung disease, kidney disease, metabolic disease and cancer. In the past 30 years, he has accrued extensive experience and techniques on human pathologic diagnosis, animal physiology and pathology, in vivo pharmacology and molecular pharmacology, also development of multiple animal disease models with skilled surgical techniques, especially microsurgical techniques. ?Due to his excellent work, Dr. Sho became a key manager and director to move several compounds into clinical trials at KAI Pharmaceuticals. Since he was in a management and leadership position in a US biotech company over 10 years, he has also developed his knowledge, experience and skills on project supervision, management, and lab direction. ?In early 2011, Dr. Sho joined KBI (a NHP CRO at Kunming, China) as the Chief Medical/Scientific Officer in charge of KBI science and technology development in the area of monkey preclinical disease models. In early 2014, he joined HD Biosciences at Shanghai, as an Executive Director in charge of in vivo pharmacology, pathology, toxicology, DMPK/PK, animal facility, etc. ?In October, 2014, Dr. Sho started KCI Biotech, in Nanjing, later in Suzhou, China, as the President and CEO. ?In January 2017, Dr. Sho started Jiangsu KMQ Biotech Inc.
